There was a post here about how anxiety and psych meds make your teeth worse. I can attest to this after 22 yrs on those meds.
I have discovered Biotine. It's meant to help with dry mouth caused by these meds. I bought the whole line and have used it for a week and Ii already feel better. The formulas have enzymes in them to help with bacteria.
I put a little of the PBF mouthwash on my toothbrush, then add the dry mouth toothpaste w/ floride (we have well water, no floride in it), then brush, then instead of rinsing with water I rinse with the mouthwash and then add a little dry mouth gel. This has really worked. My gums feel less sore, my mouth less dry. There's no alcohol in the mouthwash either.
My sister is now using the dry mouth rinse with her c-pap machine at night and it's helping with the dryness and sores the machine causes.
I believe all these things can be found at your regular dug store. Perhaps it can help some here.
If you've used this, or tr it, I'm interested in your experiences.
