Tell Me Something.....

[Str3ngth]

1) I passed my drivers test on the first try 3 months after getting my permit when I was 16

2) My two favorite things to draw are dragons and horses

3) I like making oil paintings

4) My Grandpa is convinced I'm destined to be a professional photographer

5) I've wanted to be a vet since I was in Kindergarden

6) I have never, nor will ever, smoke or do any drugs, I get grossed out just thinking about it

7) I think I would be a terrible mother so I just tell everyone I don't want kids.

1) I was born in Italy and traveled a lot as a kid because of my dad's job (it was optional, we never really had to move but it was very routine for me to miss 2 months of school and be in Thailand with him)

2) I failed kindergarden because my teacher thought I didn't speak English very well. My grandma was my nanny and she would only speak to me in Italian so that was my preferred language. My mother banned it when I had to go to summer school, I didn't speak another word (except in my head of course

) until I was 11 and started learning spanish in school.

3) That same kindergarden teacher told me I was going to hell because I wrote with my left hand, my file says that I said "well at least I'll be warm there" I don't remember that but I wish I did! (my dad had already taught me to read and write when I was 4, I was just to curious about what was in all the books apparently)

4) I have had many random jobs, and loved most of them.

5) People will tell me I have lived more in 20 years than they have in 40 and yet I just think of it as life; I've had some amazing experiences that most will never have, and I've had horrible experiences that I hope most will never have too.

6) I went to college on a soccer (yep, more proof I'm from the USA lol) scholarship, but blew my knee out my senior year of high school. I can't play on my college team, but I discovered the sport of rowing and love being a coxswain now!

I'm alway at least 5 minutes late for every appointment I ever have. I always blame it on the traffic, but that not true.

Good for you, I'm now 50 and I've felt I was the only one who hadn't tried the above

I spent 10 years in Oregon and coffee is a requirement, and I want GOOOOOD coffee. Strong enough to sprout hair on your chest, sweet enough not to notice it.

I love knitting. I taught myself how over a 6 week period and now I have a yard stash that should embarrass me, but doesn't

I talk to my dogs as though they understand me. Sometimes I think they do

I have always wanted a room in my house that looks like a 1930's library. Shelves packed to the ceiling, fireplace and a wing back chair with a lamp and glass of brandy.

No sometimes about it, I talk to mine and they understand every word. I have 2 and I have a special voice for each as they answer me.

I have my old boy cremated, he is in a pot in the garden and I talk to him as well

KP, I have two australian shepherds and my grandfathers 7 lb poodle. The Aussies, I have no doubt understand me. The poodle, is partially deaf and partially blind. She is a challenge and I am certain she may have the canine equivalent of Down's Syndrome. But I talk to her anyway.

My old boy was deaf and mainly blind towards the end - well he was deaf until the fridge door opened

My black lab Duke, I lost him almost 2 years ago ( I still cry) he followed my everywhere (I mean EVERYWHERE). He thought I was the best thing to happen to the world since sliced bread! I miss him soooooo much!!! *weeping*
