I thought I was addressing the over sharing thing, by identifying the danger factor - you over share in moments of stress, if you are not safe, it can cause you to lose your boundaries, but I did not state that clearly.

I was pretty alarmed and concerned by the vulnerable situation you were in.

It is interesting that your trauma was at 17. I have been thinking about that.

Honestly, I can pick out a number of PTSD forum members alone who put themselves into bad situations and come back time after time to post yet another trauma. No, I'm not victim blaming, but they put themselves into bad situations where trauma is more likely to occur. Think with your brain and don't just go with your gut because someone is treating you well. All it takes is ONE little thing to go wrong and you could regret it for the rest of your life. (ie what if another guy dropped by the house that night and was messed up out of his mind? You could have easily been hurt.)

It happens quite a lot. I know my judgement is not the best, so I try to be mindful of it.

I just do not see how it is either all or nothing. Not being bored does not have to mean being totally reckless about your personal safety. You can take risks to get to know new people without having to stay out all night, with no one knowing where you are and what you are doing.

There is a whole wealth of experience between being bored, and being in actual potentially dangerous situations.

I am on the tablet so can't say much more.
