I just wanted to let you know how much you touched me the other day, and what a profound effect it has had on my thinking the past few days.

You said, "thank you for your positive influence".

You know, I felt worth something for the VERY FIRST TIME in 5 1/2 YEARS - no shit!!

I didn't think I was capable of having a positive effect, I'm always so down myself. But what is ultra-cool about the way your comment made me feel, is that it didn't fade away 2 or 10 minutes later - it has stayed with me for 3 days now. This is coming from a guy whose first thought upon awakening every morning was suicide, not so very long ago. There is hope for us all.

So... I just wanted you to know that, and to say thank you, thank you, thank you. Don't ever doubt your kindness, it is Magical, me thinks.

Your presence on the forum is helping me to believe there are good men out there. I think you are very brave to be doing the work you are doing, having gone through the distress you have had to go through, and you are dealing with it.

I once had a brother (I sort of have to pretend my so-called 'family' are all dead now unfortunately.......they treat me, and others, badly), He calls himself strong, etc.......he's really in a ton of pain and I'd love to see him get help. Unfortunately, he's just turning into a real negative a**hole and doing a lot more damage. So you are an inspiration to me. You give me hope that men can be real, they all aren't a**holes, putting women down so they can feel better about themselves. This is indeed good for me.

I think your actions in dealing with this are a testimony to the truest definition of a brave, courageous man. (So please don't leave the planet.........we all need you!)

Thanks T, that is very moving to me. I'm not on the greatest terms with my family either, so it's nice to be appreciated without a hidden put down. Thanks a bunch, no I'm not going anywhere :)
