Hi ISH - you get set a place for me! I will be with you in spirit.... being thankful
  • that I'm still alive and kicking
  • that my family love and support me
  • that I have a roof over my head
  • that there's food in the fridge
  • that I have friends who love and support me
  • that I'm part of this amazing community
  • And also that I have my lovely friends on SSA forum

Thanks CB. I plan on being "like" the turkey and gobble gobble today! :D

That sounds like a great tradition ISH. My memories are mostly about just my parents and I. I mostly grew up as an only child although I do have siblings that are MUCH older than me. 1 was in high school when I was born and the other 2 were already gone. I remember my mother cooking and my Dad "helping".....i.e. snagging food and then running! HA! And once I got to be big enough to wash things in the sink that became my job. Occasionally we had someone else there, but mostly just us and TONS of food!

My mother would also take food to some of the elderly "shut in's" too and I got to help with that.

Jawn

I may not be in the USA.

But the biggest thing I am thankful for is:-

That no matter how hard or tough life with PTSD gets, my husband and I can always find a way to work things through. We are as strong together today as we were before his accident. Maybe in a different way, but still together and still strong.

For this I am truly thankful.
