Just wanted to honestly thank you for this. I had no idea that this could result from PTSD. I've had some tremors recently but nothing THAT scary or uncontrollable.

Also, I learned a different meaning for shell shock outside of the context of TMNT. So thank you for that too! :D

Gosh Sappy, that's horrible...those poor, poor men. No wonder we still have WW2 vets who still don't talk about what they saw and suffered so many years ago.

I was sitting in a talk the other day about presidential election topics and the speaker actually brought up shell shock and ptsd patients. And some kid next to me said, what's ptsd?? And another kid said, oh it's just some excuse about not adjusting after war. I cant even tell you how pissed I was. Just the word excuse ticked me off so much that I wanted to punch that kid till he couldnt even utter the word "excuse." And Im normally not an angry person. If only my hall director wasnt sitting right next to me. My gosh people are so ignorant.

True! I went to the Chemist/Pharmacy today to get a Flu jab and the Pharmacist asked me what PTSD was? Honestly! They prescribe meds for such conditions but didn't know what it was.
