I celebrated my denial by wearing a tank top today. Ok, so I had a down jacket on over it...

I think I hit the jackpot with my psydoc. Not only does she not celebrate Christmas but she prescribed me benzos to help me survive mine.

I currently have the flu... which feels very non-festive :laugh:

Mainly, I'm staying away from TV and radio... I find those the worst.

I'm watching documentaries on youtube as I snooze through the flu.

Netflix will be my next to kin these couple of days. And I’ve caught a mild flu too.

I’m glad there’s nothing special going on these days... like significant holidays, religious feasts etc... just me and my netflix. And candy. :D Oh, and my bonny denial pony. :p

Yeah, my denial is going really well too, this year! :)

Staying away from radio/ TV and living out on a farm in the middle of nowhere is making things pretty easy this year.

And yeah, flu helps to distract and make things feel utterly NORMAL too :laugh:

Yeah, we can be flu-buddies.
I don’t have any real hardcore symptoms (yet) but I’ll take the self-pity having a flu gives me. And the justification for staying in bed avoiding and denying (if there only was anything to deny...) everything.

I did a sucky job of celebrating winter solstice this year tho. Feeling a bit let down about that :shifty:

May have to do a proper celbration once flu is better. I'll find a way of combining it with New Year's Eve.

How do y'all feel about New Year's ?

It is better/ less triggery than Xmas?
