The Nursery, 12 Weeks To Go!

Well I've finally gotten around to getting my nursery a little more organised!

Mum bought me a huge thick lambskin for bubs to have fun/sleep/change on, so its under the sheet on the cradle.
I've got heaps more to do yet, but this is a start!

I think I'll take the lambskin with me to the hospital for me or bubs to lie on, and right now I'm having the fun task of trying to write a birthing plan, based on a C section, that will take care of my personal as well as PTSD needs.....

But I'm getting there!

It's a shame you dont live nearer...I have loads of baby stuff you could have!

And thanks Cat.....I've got 12 weeks and a half weeks to go, so I've got to get a wriggle on with getting stuff, although a girlfriend of mine has twin girls, and she still has all her baby stuff although it's now with friends who have their own babies, so I'm looking forward to finding out what she has.

Yes, as soon as mum saw it, she swore that it was extremely useful, and they can even sleep on it during summer. Mum rarely gives me a dud steer, so she bought it for me which was really sweet.

If you did I missed it, could you repost?

The house has had a little more of a tidy, so my next resolution is to start on a baby quilt, and create something sweet for the nursery that's girly and feminine that the other half will like.

Yay babies! I love being a mom. If your expectation is that you will sit in a chair nursing for the first six months then you won't feel disappointed if that is all you do. :)

How is that different to some of my days now? :p
I've been told I have really, really strong mothering instincts, and instinctively know what most babies/children want, so I'm really hoping thats true, because I haven't long to go!

Congratulations. Being a mom was the best thing I chose in life. Children bring so much life into a home.
