My bf and I had a conflict last week related to me talking to his mother, while I was trying to take care of his new dog. The details aren't important. However, he decided to give me a little quiz before I'm allowed to come see him again. It's funny, and it's incredibly offensive and insulting, and I'm not inviting comment about that. However, his quiz for me inspired me to create a little quiz of my own. I suspect he would find my quiz pretty offensive as he is not in treatment of any kind and holds fast to his belief that there is no treatment for ptsd. But I thought it might amuse readers here. Some of the questions are serious, some are less so. Feel free to add new questions and answers.

9. When you are close to a person who has PTSD, the best thing to do if they aren't actively trying to get better is:

Please note this is in the spirit of the dark humour - if a sufferer and not feeling humorous, don't read!

I'd add one option to number 9:

9. When you are close to a person who has PTSD, the best thing to do if they aren't actively trying to get better is:
.
.
.
J. Keep jumping out and saying "Boo!"

Just rushing now to note this thread in my personal journal, under the category of"first thing to make me laugh today..."

I always always always love dark humour!

I found myself nodding in agreement to all of the options for each of the multiple choice questions - sometimes, almost everything is appropriate!!!

And hey, in all seriousness, the ability to laugh at yourself is one of the greatest personal attributes to be treasured, I do truly believe that.
