@Knak I do find that the physical pain, affects the emotional shit with PTSD. I too have arthritis, throughout my whole body. Back, knees, feet and hands are the worst for me. Some days it feels as though I just can't catch a break with the pain and so the depression just swirls and swirls. It's either the fibro, arthritis, migraine or something else that flares up every stinking day. Honestly, I don't remember a single day in ages that pain wasn't front and center.
I take Meloxicam for the arthritis, and Fieoricet and Sumatriptan for the migraines. TENS Unit for the Fibromyalgia. I see my Dr next month, so im thinking I need to have a discussion about some kind of pain management.
I too have had steroid injections. Had them in my hands, feet, back, wrist and fingers and then found out that too many steroid injections can actually cause your bones to dissolve. Steroid injections were supposed to be used only for knees when they first came out, and now they use them for almost every spot in the body.
The ting going on with my eye is a detachment of the vitreous iof my right eye. No serious, just freaking annoying. It's the same exact symptoms of a retinal detachment, so you have to see an eye specialist ASAP to determine what it is....
Hope that you too feel better soon........
