The Small Things In Life. What Makes You Happy?

Making jewelry, my pets, friends and family, watching the sun rise, watching birds and listening to them, searching for insects outside, taking pictures.

My mom and I opened up a booth in the crafter's mall that we are going to set up next month. That makes me happy. I can get some of my jewelry out there, I think. :)

Frogs, birds, geckos, salamanders, butterflies, praying mantises, cats, fish, snakes, dolphins, elephants, ferrets, chipmunks, squirrels, skunks, raccoons, tarantulas, grass, vines, fruits and vegetables, plants, stingrays, coral, blank paper, empty rooms, textbooks, clean laundry, morning time.

I like nature.

I used to looooove going into the city and traveling and being with big groups of people. I especially loooved people watching. For a while I was scared of going anywhere and being around stranger, so another small thing I like is that I am able to start going out and enjoy being around people again. I still have trouble being alone like on the train or going into a crowded restaurant/bar/mall/etc. So I usually make people go with me :D but I've been able to enjoy going to the beach and festivals and movies.

If you get a chance or feel up to it go to an amusement park. I went with a friend and I was afraid I was going to have a panic attack going on the rides and waiting in line but after the first ride, it felt really freeing. It was an adrenaline rush but in a good way! Small thing in life that is making me happy is being able to feel stronger and stronger everyday.

- A cup of coffee.
- A walk or hike in the woods
-The sound of my children laughing
- The ocean at night, especially on a full moon
- Camping
- Drawing
- Warm blankets fresh from the dryer
- Observing wildlife
- The night sky
- A smile on a babies face
- Wildflowers and wild berries
- Willow trees
- Getting real mail from someone
- Really windy days

Oh, and a good nights sleep. Very rare, and very treasured.

I love making up games for my grandboys to play in their hallway during commercials when sports are on. They live in a place that rains a lot so they started out playing "Hallway Football". I made them signs to put up with their favorite mascot on them and their last name. Then I made "Hallway Soccer" with they family crest, they "Hallway Hockey", etc. I love how happy it makes them, they are easy to please and are rough-house youngsters that I remember having so it's easy to get into. It makes me laugh and smile to hear the stories about it. :)

The sound of a passing train at night.

Kitkat chocolates.

Colorful socks, preferably with kitties on them.

Every little joy my dog brings me. To list a few:
-The way she wakes up and stretches for several minutes before lazily crawling from her suitcase to my mattress.
-The way she bounces out of the room in the morning to the door.
-The way she frolics so joyously in the morning, even though she soaks her belly with dew
-The way she is asleep again thirty minutes after she wakes up
-The way she pounces on her toys like a cat and will fetch something again and again for twenty minutes, back and forth.
