The Small Things In Life. What Makes You Happy?

Talking to a friend I hadn't talked to in awhile who just knows it's always okay to call when she is down, that I'm "safe". We always end up laughing at some point after all the garbage has been spilled, usually about the pets and fur or leaving the trees up until next year! ;)

It's good to laugh. I appreciate this HUGE gift!

We have a 6 year old Dingo cross. He is such a loveable nut. When he gets wound up for a play he is a scream. Sometimes he will wander out of the house up the back yard for a leak. Then suddenly he will burst into the house at a gallop like a bomb and run back and forth up and down the hall madly than back into the yard, only to repeat.
Fancy being that triumphant over going to the bathroom.
He is a gift and our teens adore him.
Love you all...

ya gotta love bed snuggling to the accompaniment of rain on the roof.
Ever since childhood on the farm when the roof of course was tin and much more effective..
xoxo

This is a good idea...

I actually had a good conversation with my sister today and felt comfortable enough with her to tell her about one small thing that had been bothering me. She responded very positively and it was just nice.

Taking my dogs to the off leash park.

Watching them having fun with other dogs, playing in the water and doing zoomies with new furry friends.

It's almost like therapy for them to be free of the routine at home.

We had snow last night and my pup is experiencing some of his snow. Took him out for his before bedtime pee and it was snowing. He was so excited he was jumping up, trying to catch the snow as it fell. It made me laugh out loud. Watching him play in the snow makes me happy. Oh to be so care-free.
