Therapist Having An "off" Day?

There is a therapy blog I read at times, that I have gained some interesting insight from. Here is a link to one that might help offer perspective. Basically, therapy is a one-way street. I don't know if you or anyone else would find it beneficial, but here is the link anyway.

Hashi, I'm glad your T was wonderful and helped you in your session, even though there may be problems for her too.

It shows what a caring person you are, that you care about what she may be going through and notice she is tired.

Hashi,

Do pleased for you!

Actually leaving her to take care of her difficulties can be about trusting that she is strong enough to deal with them or get the support she needs herself. That was a surprise for me to consider. I did not have to take responsibility for her.

I think its really healthy that you are considering that she could be having a rough time and yet manage that in a healthy way. And accept her affability as a human being that she messed up that once. If she can be valuable after messing up then maybe we can be too! ;)
