I was sent a potion and a crystal and slept really well last night. Anthony thinks it is the placebo effect but as a believer of oils and crystals I believe an Angel was watching out for me even though I do know she rides a mean broomstick if fired up.

Thanks Nicolette! I'm keeping track of the developments about the caribbean meet, but my savings are not up to the amount of money it will cost.

I'm into crystal and oils and stuff like that, so I know how much they can help. I used to think it was all just placebo as well, but I know there is more to it now...much more.

No placebo effect at all. My husband would not be without his oils now. He uses them in the bath, shower, to sleep and for a pick up when he needs a bit of extra help.

He even has crystals too, try taking them off him and see what happens.

The one he is wearing now is a Tigers Eye pendant I bought him not long ago.

Take your pick, Angel or Goddess. Or when fired up ;)

. The potions that the "angel" sent to me are also definitely not a placebo. I have a little bottle of magic to 'perk' me up - which goes everywhere with me, and is especially useful when I have to get up silly early to go to work! And also a special blend to calm me down when stressed or induce sleep at bed time. Both brilliant and smell divine!!

She also 'found' my work boots for me - when I had looked high and low

I categorize my use of aroma therapy and kinship with crystal (prisms) as neither placebo nor potion. I use oils and attached to the rainbow effect of prisms, and the audio "ring" when it's struck as a way to self soothe, self nurture, calm and allow the intent to heal. I try not to veer off into black or white thinking... but seek balance in the middle.

Doubled back to add (slow on the uptake today) that I think for me, I find some comfort in externalizing and objectifying or "fleshing out" comfort. For instance I can hold a rock or a feather and it is calming. I can smell essential oils in my bath water or wear them and find them grounding. I can see a rainbow thrown from a prism and feel a sense of beauty and peace. For myself though I am disinclined to attribute power to "things"... and tend to appreciate the attributes of these habits more as a process.

Yup and I do... I have an affinity for feather finding, rocks, the prism rainbow effect, scents... and am much calmer and have moments of pleasure by embracing them.

I so believe what you say about if it works then use it. I just got a series of rose quartz to put under my childrens pillows and they seem to sleep better. They know that it balances the heart chakra and creates peace within the family. I also use a lot of the aromatherapy when bathing for them or pillow sprays. They also have a dreamcatcher in the room. Sometimes a little mysticism never hurts. May the white light guard and protect us all.
