I am aware that everyone's situation is a different but I wanted to do a quick update.
Things were spiraling downward when I first found the forum about 9 years ago. I won't go into it all, my old posts may be on here somewhere. So many things. Frequent hospitalizations, ECT, countless medications tried.
I have no easy explanations but here we are, years later. Still on meds but no more therapy visits, I can't even remember the date of the last hospitalization. Yes she is a different person in some ways but we do talk, laugh, love. 40 years celebrated last June.
I just wanted to hold out hope for those here. No guarantees but I know that 9 years ago, I wasn't convinced there was hope, yet here I am holding out hope for others.
