Things Got Better Before, They Will Get Better Again, Right?

I've pissed off the suicide prevention people before too! No worries. Just people. Oh well. Things will improve for you. Life moves on. I am told that anyways. I have been in automatic mode for many months now being told now that life moves on. So you better prove to me that it does. I am not threatening anything, but I am a lowly worker that just happens to be very depressed as many on this trek happen to be. Please do your best. You are wonderful.

We are working our hardest and will continue to do so. Thanks for the opportunity to make it this far.

I agree with Anthony, things will get better again. I have found that good eventually comes out of the bad.

I do not think you lost your foundation although you may feel that you have.

I just finished a very rough four years of accumulated losses and I hit rock bottom, but now things have really changed for the better for me. Do not give up on hope.

Also there are suicide prevention hotlines. They usually suck, but by the time you hang up you will be too mad at them to hurt yourself.
I'm not even partially joking! I don't bother to call these people nowadays.

It's good to be reminded that you have the skills and strengths to climb back up. But I think it's also important to recognise that each time you get pulled down, it does take more out of you. So along with the positive encouragement I'd put in a word about really looking after yourself, pampering yourself as much as you can, lots of good food, vits, rest.... @Ayesha

Ayesha . I remember a year ago . I too felt like the world crashed on me.

It was a very difficult year. Depressed , stayed in bed 12 hours a day. Many suicidal thoughts.

Thankfully though with a good support network and an amazing , loving, supporting girlfriend , I made through what seemed like the most difficult year of my life.

So to answer your question, I totally believe that it gets better. Even though you may not see it right now,
I know in my heart it will get better.

Do not lose hope .
