there should be a drop period
What do you mean?
What type of degree are you looking to get?
I have no idea...
I think you sound really excited and hopeful and you should go for it!
:D Thanks.
relax a little about the straight A's
I wish I could. :( I try but so far I haven't been able to.
I think your aim of going back to school is fabulous!
Thank you for your encouragement.
In what ways did disability services help you?
I had to have a note from my doctor to prove everything but they acted like a go-between. A middle man with my teachers. I got 'relaxed absences', 'relaxed due dates' and testing accommodations (which I didn't normally use). With my anxiety and doctor's appointments though the relaxed deadlines and absences was very helpful.
And also like @Solara said:
My advisor in the disability center helps if I'm having issues with a class or instructor.
@therisa It would be Spring 2014 actually. I haven't really given much thought to online becasue I really need to be around people, to push outward and get interaction. The more I isolate the worse I get.
You have a whole month to come up with some techniques to deal with the "just-in-case."
Yes. :)
If you find it's is still too much, then what? The world will not end and you will not end. You will not have failed but you will have learned something valuable about caring for yourself.
I am trying to think of it that way @Candleflames trying to remember all I learned but then I also think about the money lost from the classes I had to drop.
