General This is a tough one

My spouse just told me she “is disappointed she’s still here” after threatening to kill herself a few weeks ago. And was subsequently hospitalized afterwards for 5 days.

That one really hurts.

Why the f*** am I spending so much time in this relationship?

Is your spouse still under hospital care? It seems like that might be the best place for her if she's actively suicidal.

If she's not, how successful do you think it would be to have a conversation about her re-entering inpatient care until her suicidality has reduced again?

SI is the worst part of dealing with my partner’s PTSD. I absolutely hate it. It wears me out, pisses me off, and scares me to death at the same time.

I’d rather he yell at me for a week than deal with one hour talking about how he wishes he was dead.
