Congrats on starting the thread:) I think you have let us look around your attic quite a bit in all that you've written to others over time. Everyone has their own way of letting things out in the right time.

Hope you've been able to manage the physical pain until something is found out about treatment etc..

I know that the dreck type stuff tends to make us see ourselves in a bad light, but if you could see yourself as everyone else sees you... you would really like that warm-hearted, intelligent, kind, extremely lovely (inside and out) person in the mirror that always has a kind word or a bit of encouragement for everyone. Oh, and Murphy says you are purrrfectly hugable. (He dictated that as he's sitting on my lap.)

Anni it's so funny because one of the things I love to watch is the Osbournes. They are so 'dysfunctional' by any normal standard. But god they love each other don't they? The love and loyalty I see. But mostly just the fact the they accept each other.

If 'god' came down from heaven and asked me what kind of family I wanted to live in - I'd have to answer quite honestly 'The Osbournes'

So funny! I love them too!! I'm sorry, but Ozzie is so unabashedly flooky ( 'When did we put this bathroom here? ) you have to adore the guy, plus you know when he married Sharon she was hardly a sex-pot. She was a normal, brainy, pretty albeit not skinny woman. He could have caved and gone for the whole super model thing but just married the person he loved. Same with her, since you can't tell me she doesn't have her hands full-and loves it!! In my opinion they did a super job with those children, too, so that even though yes, it's rather dysfunctional they're lovely people in the end so it works! I wasn't too much of an Ozzy fan when he was 'out there', on the charts but am now-and a Sharon fan on the grounds they're awfully nice people. :)

I know Anni - I've actually read both of her autobiographies and if you love a good, honest 'just lay it all out there' read then I highly recommend them. You are dead right. She was, dare I say it, a tad 'frumpy'. He didn't care. And he was this big rock star who yes, had women throwing themselves at him. But he chose the person he loved for who she is (and she actually has a lot of experience in the behind the scenes side of the music business. A lot more than I realised before reading her autobiographies). I think they've done a great job too :)
