Today I learnt my father who abused me as a child, raped me and broke my arm, (among other things), might have cancer.
My husband and I are celebrating with a bottle of champagne.

Both of my parents were my abusers, my mom got killed in a plane crash and my dad died of throat cancer. Lifting a glass to toast you.

It was a small plane but the pilot was in error in the fog and my mother and her married boyfriend and a couple that just got married in Vegas. Sorry for being so thoughtless and not feeling for them.

@gizmo - my mother didn't actually abuse me, but condoned it and would constantly tell me that if I told then I would make her and my brothers homeless... if only cancer was contagious and she would catch it too!!
