Traumatic Brain Injury (tbi) - Anyone Else Have This?

Anyone here have a TBI (traumatic brain injury) and PTSD because of how it happened?

Well, not in the same person. My husband suffered a TBI many years ago, and I have PTSD. I think he does too, but he won't even consider it. Does that help you?

I have/had an Anoxic brain injury due to a suicide attempt due to (C)PTSD. The event added to my list of traumas.

Not sure what that means, however, when I was about 5-6 years old, I had a major head injury when I fell off my bike, had a severe head concusion (sp?) and was bleeding pretty bad. My mom waited several hours before taking me to the hospital under my dad's persuasion (she for some reason didn't think anything was wrong with me, go figure, probably the start of her issues). Anyways, I ended up with amnesia for a week and was sent home.

I have PTSD due to many years of verbal/emotional abuse as well as some physical from both my mother (throughout childhood) and my ex (for 9 years).

What is TBI? I've never heard of it before.
