Travelling from your dreams

Where would you travel if you had enough money, time, resources, opportunities, what destination would be your ones from the dreams? :inlove::rolleyes:

I thought to make this thread to try to occupy my mind with something pleasant, on a day which is not easy to go through. :notworthy:

So, I'll start, and it doesn't have to be only one destination, it could be added more later too. :tup:

I would travel to Iceland during the winter to see the Northern lights, to even try to spend a night or two camping directly under the lights. It's my biggest travelling wish. :x3:

Patricks Point Beach in Northern California and stay in a five star hotel. This beach is the best beach I have ever found for hunting for driftwood and agates. It is a beautiful area and I have walked all of those stairs many times in my life. I would hire a limo to take me there and back. I could start making my seashell and driftwood mobiles again by what treasures I gleaned from the beach.:D

The Northern Lights is one of mine, as well. I wanted to combine it with the Ice Hotel, but I was lucky enough to stay in an ice hotel a few years ago, so now I'll take any way of getting there.

I've also fulfilled the wish to arrive in Venice by sleeper train. I wanted the romance of the journey and especially the moment of walking out of the station to find myself in a city of canals. It didn't disappoint.

So now my major dream destination is the Galapagos Islands. I want to visit on a sailing yacht, with an expert naturalist, ideally David Attenborough, but I'm willing to compromise.

Also a tour of Europe by campervan, but that is a plan, not a dream. We are starting to map out the route.

The Galapagos Islands for me as well (only I choose Philippe Cousteau Jr. as naturalist), and then Thailand.

I would also love to go back to Cambria. I would hire a driver and rent one of the cottages on the beachfront and have room service every night and explore the artist shops during the day and also watch the sunset every day. I would probably cry because my husband and I used to go there very often.

such great place posted. I guess at this moment I'd pick an overwater bungalow in Thailand somewhere for a few weeks months. Maybe a dozen in a row for some of my friends on this site.
