General Treading Lightly? Hubby Moody

Had Hubby to the Docs again today he is getting really bad cold sweats. We thought it may have been his glucose was to low or high but they tested it was ok.
He is shivering a lot its crazy as we live in the Tropics he has been walking around with a a jacket on.
The Doc has sent him for more blood tests he seems to think it may be a side effect to his one of his meds?
We have to go and see a specialist on Friday will see what he says?

Oh that doesn't sound good Jen. Let's hope it is just a side effect of meds, or a bout of the flu, and nothing more serious.

Yeh the Doc also said it may be a bug in his system that hasnt surfaced as yet?

Hi Jen

I don't know much about PTSD but I have seen Anthony go down (as in get sick) and during one of those times he had the sweats for days. As quick as I could wipe it off with a face washer it was all over him again. Once he got better from being down with PTSD the sweats disappeared.

Don't know whether that helps or not?

PS... sorry if I'm not using the right terminology with the sickness stuff.

Oh that is interesting Nicolette, thank you for sharing. Evie also has sweats and shakes for days at times. However I was uncertain I should mention it, as it may be a physical problem for her, with the cancer and other health problems she experiences. In any event, interesting that it may be the PTSD as well.

Yep, what a fun week that was... not. Damn unneeded stress from a grumpy ex-wife... yeh!

He didnt take the tablet this morning that the doc thought may be the problem. How long does it take to get out of the system? I thought about 24 hours?

Evie has cold sweats. Been cold for a few days even though it's warm here. Just as you describe Jen. However. She is ill with other things. So. Difficult to determine the cause. Hope your husband is all right.

Hi Jen

Just another thought. I have a doctor as a client and I often walk around freezing with 2 jumpers on when everyone else is in short sleved tops and he told me to have my thyroid tested.

Worth a shot I guess????????

Thanks Nicolette he had a blood test yesterday with results back on Friday when we see the specialist they may show something.
He has just found out his Dad has become very ill so thats not going to help.
He will probably fly down to Brisbane on the weekend to see him.
