Every boss that knows you cant afford to quit.

He's the father in-law that your husband wont believe is anything other than funny and harmless.

He knows when you cant fight back, he knows no one will believe you and that you'll be labeled crazy.

He wants you to understand him, cut him some slack, he sees that you're special and he just wants you to prove that he's right about you.

If you accept his reality ~ you have a chance, if you do not accept it, you have no chance and what you have managed alone - until now - will be lost also.

That is why Trump is a trigger.

He's triggering for me because he's a complete bully/narc-like/offesive ass but somehow he has followers using tactics my parents did.

I honestly dont care that he is a bully/narc-like/offensive ass, I just ignore people like that. What bothers me is the followers, one at which is my father whom never stops singing his gospel and there is no reaching him. Thats what triggers me, trying to save my father's brain from this "brain eatter".

Such an unusual thing in this very red state to be in a crowd where the mass majority cheer for Blue ideals. Felt good.

Im not red or blue (though lean red), im for better the country and in areas thats red and in some areas its blue. I hate red and blue as its black or white. Why not better the country no matter if its considered "red" or "blue"?

In any case, Trump is a horrid "speaker" of red and i couldnt find a worse "speaker" of what "red" even stands for!

Watched SNL tonight. At least it provides comic relief in these troubling times. I liked the first skit but the rest left something to be desired. I kinda want to see more of Darrel Hammond as Bill and oh gee golly why did Sarah Palin have to drop off the face of the planet? I love me some Tina Fey lol.

I have avoiding hearing about him (am in UK) as much as possible but I got very upset the other day when he described people with PTSD as weak...

I have complex PTSD. every conceivable abuse possibly from being a tiny baby. Both the assessing psychotherapist and my present one look at my experiences as having gone through a War of Attrition.

I dealt with it by remembering there is karma and also imagining Jim as a two and inch mouse!

There's an entire thread about that Trump Suggests That Soldiers Who Suffer From Ptsd Aren’t “strong” just if you'd like to hear opinions and insight about it. The quote was taken out of context in the media though I still dont like what he said as a whole.

Thank you. No I know these people are very strong. It is the loneliness of being strong and realising that it is impossible for people to understand unless you have been through it yourself.

I felt myself getting really close to a trigger episode by all the Trump stuff. I don't have many these days. But then a couple family members posted on Facebook defending his behavior and boom. Two days solid of bursting into tears. It's taken nearly a week to get centered again. I haven't read the comments. Just wanted you to know that you are not alone.
