I'm so glad to hear that he has "left the building". It sounds like you are trying to keep yourself busy and have found some new friends.

Remember, you have the right to take out an order of protection against your ex as well as his friend. Anyone on your property can be arrested with this order. Your children and yourself are number one when it comes to safety. Allowing him to make decisions for you is unhealthy. It's not a matter of standing up to him, its a matter of personal boundaries for you and children. He has no right to make decisions for you. A lawyer will probably tell you this.

Just because he is the father, that does not give him the option of being the decision maker. It should be mutual or not at all. Keeping people in fear is a way that unhealthy people use to control us. No one has to control, we can do that on our own. You should be allowed to follow your dreams and passions in life. If that is causing consequences, then maybe some help will get you through. You and your children deserve a happy, safe, nurturing environment. Those who tell you different are not a good choice to listen to.

Hang in there and know you have a place to go to vent or just visit.

No divorce deal or access to the children :naughty:until sorted through a lawyer or courts and remember you are in control of your situation now, any harrassing on his part or friends then you take the steps to keep you and your children safe.
