Infidelity to whom?
Parts of each of the abrahamic/ mosaic religions have accepted multiple partners either In the present and definitely all have in the past

Even the wider Anglican/ Episcopalian Christian community has African bishops pushing for the whole movement to officially accept polygamy
I know at least one trans gender Episcopalian priest, married to someone the same gender as they are now, and the episcopal and Roman churches aren't short of openly homosexual priests.

So, it may be denominational thing limiting members to one partner, but it isn't strictly speaking a Jewish, Christian or Muslim thing.

With regards to a specific couple, it's a matter between them.

I'm personally not up to poly Amory. I know that I can't do it, or cope with a partner who's actively poly, and I make that clear early on in relationships

Where it is clear that poly is acceptable, and in the case of that former gf of mine, she actually wanted it. She wanted me to do guys.

If you are into it and in those circumstances, why not?

If you have an expectation of exclusivity and a specific orientation, then yes, that would be infidelity.

@Symphony if you knew that religion was a potential trigger, perhaps you shouldn't have come on and inserted your opinion unless you were equally ready to hear the opposing comments. Checking out because someone has differing views and calls you to the plate is non productive. Further, if that stance rolls over in to other threads that become contentious, you might think about abstaining from comment until you can participate in discussion. I think you should spend some time figuring out why you feel it is ok to walk in to a room and throw out a stink bomb then leave when someone questions you.
@Anarchy I totally agree with your post about all the genocide that goes on in this world. HOWEVER, God gave us free will.... It's hard to believe He could create such people that do so much harm to mankind. In turn however, their judgement day will come and they will answer to those atrocities. I don't believe that God would punish anyone for sharing love however. Two guys, two girls, whatever... I think if you can find someone to love that loves you back in this world that is freaking awesome. Go spread that love and you personify the exact meaning of the Bible.... "do unto others.."
I personally don't care who you have sex with...love and sex are two different identities. People have sex all the time who don't love each other... Especially heterosexuals... Are they going to hell for having premarital sex? If so then no one except Tim Tebow is going to heaven.... Maybe the Pope, but it is possible he may have slipped up here or there... Sprinkle some of that love around Anarchy and I will meet you in Heaven one day and we will have a beer and chat up how freaking stupid it is that some people believed you wouldn't be there bc you fell in love with someone of the same sex...I had pre-marital sex so I may not be there either... I am going to use the free will God gave me to love everyone I can and celebrate our differences and learn from them and not judge!
