Nah, massage wouldn't be a thing for me and it won't heal trauma, but I think it can be a helpful resource for many people.
SE work is slow but I find it helps that, even if I don't talk a lot, I am connecting it all with emotions and thoughts, so I'm like a whole person, or all the pieces are catching up and reintegrating, slowly. So I believe there is a therapeutic process required for the body-trauma stuff. If I do massage again it will be after I'm more healed, just to deal with day-to-day tensions.
But yeah, there are lots of alternative therapies and tools that I wish insurance could cover.
