I have joined you all, because I believe that I have ptsd. I have also suffered a stroke, hence my poor spelling and grammar. I am 57.

Are you able to seek out professional help to see if you do indeed have PTSD?

I have made an appointment to see my doctor in 4 week's time. I have mentioned it before, and also to another doctor, and of course, got nowhere with my local care workers.

An article has once again caused me to again seek help.

A guy is describing all my symptoms. Strangely he doe's not mention the "startle response", like me he does not have this feature.

I am also trying to seek help with a Vipassana meditation course.
