I dont believe he understands what he is being told, nor does he listen to his advisors.
He is senile and theyvare just baby sitting him while trying to give the apperance of a semi functioning white house.

IIRC aren't you former military?
No, I'm not, but I appreciate that there's a lot of information out there most of us don't have access to.

I'd honestly like to be able to trust that the president has the best interests of the country at heart when he (or she) makes decisions. I can buy, for example, that G.W.B. went into Iraq because he really thought there were WMD's and an invasion was the best way to handle it. There's a lot that could have been handled better after that, but I can believe it's totally possible that choice, based on information he had at the time, made sense. On the other hand, we've had presidents flat out lie to us (Lyndon Johnson/ Gulf of Tonkin?), so I'm always a bit skeptical.

With Trump, I see a lot I can't make sense of, when I try to frame it as "looking out for the good of the country". Like I can't make sense out of alienating our allies while cozying up to despots. I can see talking to North Korea. I can sure see being polite. But some of the praise he heaped on that guy is just not accurate, and I don't see that as appropriate. And when he says he wishes "his people" revered him like the people of North Korea rever "the dear leader", it totally creeps me out. Yeah, maybe that was a joke. I have personal experience with people who say things like that, like they're joking, but they're not. But they're claim it was a joke when you call them on it... It makes me nervous.

For me, personally, above and beyond anything else, my problem with this president is the way he treats people. He might be a smart as he thinks he is, and be might have a better handle on things than it looks like he does. He has demonstrated, to my personal satisfaction, that he has little respect for his fellow human beings. For me, that's a deal breaker. I can't trust someone who finds it so easy to dehumanize other people.

So, yesterday I was discussing conspiracy theories with my T (as one does?) and he brought up this. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/06/28/us/politics/trump-anthony-kennedy-retirement.html

Somehow the fact that the son of the just retiring Supreme Court justice was at least somewhat responsible for loaning money to Trump Inc bothers me. There's more to the story than that, but I'm wishing these people were actually as stupid as they sometimes look.

I'm sure they are at some things.

Not to toot my own horn, but I would imagine when someone reads the things I write here, I come off as reasonably intelligent. Hopefully somewhat learned about various topics.
Here's what I look like while trying to put my thoughts into text using my mobile telephone.

Fadeaway, there is so much that you see that really isn’t there. Just as the media has spewed a lot of lies out, don’t count on Trump being honest. Yeah, I said it. He’s gonna lie. But consider that his name is on the line. His name is everything, really. So whatever he does he ants to keep his name honorable and clean. Don’t ask about the women, because that’s a different story. But he doesn’t want the media to know the truth, because if they do, whatever they know they do report, so if they know it so does the enemy.

Scout, no maybes or ifs- there were chemical and biological weapons in Iraq. A lot of our troops are dying from it now.

I just read the article. Oh my... I am appalled.
I could say a whole lot more but what is the use. I don't understand. I will never understand. This is not about defending anyone's constitutional freedoms anymore. This company is only interested in making money under the guise of constitutional freedom.

I heard an interview with the owner of the company - he said he started the company only after the feds charged him for distributing the blue print for guns online for free. He said he did it because he’s an anarchist, and his profits actually come from bitcoin investment, and that’s what pays for the business. The evidence points to back up his claim that he is not doing it for the money but on his beliefs in the first amendment. Yes, he emphasized he is doing it not just because if the second amendment, but that this was argued in part as a first amendment case.

It is shocking and interesting matter and development. Agree or disagree, it will change things going forward. I’m surprised the government settled the case with him the way they did, and that it’s not more in the news. These kinds of developments usually lead to street marches.

But..he is making a ton of money by him or his company selling the ghost gunners...

Wilson claims he started selling these things to help pay his legal costs but now he is selling them...for what? In any case honestly the absolute last thing needed is more of this.

I agree with you. I cannot understand how this has flown so well under the radar. I don't understand why the laws have not been changed to outlaw this type of entrepreneur. I don't really understand how it is not arms dealing.
