Tell me something. I don't live in your government, but I see a couple of positives
God bless you Jimmy, you are the eternal optimist.
1. For the a good many folks it was never about the color of his skin but ALL about the content of his character.
2. I for one feel that he has created more problems that he solved and exasperated the one's that existed before he was elected.
3. Yeah, but on who's side for the first 4 years he couldn't say the word "terror" and still can't say the word "islam-ist". Frankly, I'd be in the brig if I had to salute this guy as CIC.
IMHO.....
We no longer have a Representative government that is bound by our constitution but a ruling class of career politicians.
I didn't vote for him in the past two elections. Both opponents were the "lesser of two evils". That includes Bush as well!
There are many excellent candidates who could do a fine job. The problem is the system that allows only well healed and connected to participate. Money drives the process right into the crapper! Besides, what person, in their right mind, would subject themselves and family to the "scorch and burn" mentality of the political class that exists.
I don't see anyone on the horizon that would infuence any serious change. We have to start from the bottom up and find "citizens" who have paid the price of admission to participate. Some say it's time for "Tourches and Pitch Forks" I'm not ready to go that route - YET.
Opps, my PTSD is showing. Excuse me, time to head for my bunker. Aahh, leave my soapbox where it is I'll be back for it.
