Well, it brought a luagh to me. All the more reason to clean this mess up here in the US. We simply cannot abide English being taken over yet again (that agaeeen) byt eh foreign elemnts that choose to bastardize the language.

It's First, never Firstly. (How did a noun get to be an adverb?) It's while, not whilst. (God how I cringe to hear the words.)

But I love you guys, dammit.If the queen rescinds our charter then so be it. As always, we will have to meet at the pub to sort things out.

Mate, we still live in a monarchy. And when I hear the English speak on TV sometimes I don't know what the f*ck they are saying. People say it depends on what part of England they are from. f*ck me, the whole of the U.K. is the size of one of our states.

God how true. When I was there in London on the Underground a knockout blue eyed blonde girl approached (I guess I have a look of trust) and asked if "(somehing unintelligle) barnd street was where this cahr was going?" No copy. Repeat.

I guess she realized I was a foriegner and said quite clearly: Is Bond Street on this line? Now I am really in love.

As my heart was thumping I said, Yes it is. (I wasn't going there but I am now.)

I can take all but the language. And Australia I can handle that too. We had an Aussie unit in our AO. They were tough. One guy was an excellent marksman, an expert I should say. And he had one of the old Armalites. He gave me an Aussie hat I still wear proudly though it's a bit beat up. "The brim's larger all 'round, mate. Does better than those Wog boonie hats you guys wear," he told me. He was actually a Kiwi in the Aussie army. I was happy to hear he made it back home.

He was right about the hat. Looks cooler too.
