An April [2017] letter from a military contract officer laid out several complaints about the performance of Warrior Canine Connection, the group that trains veterans to train service dogs for their fellow disabled vets.

A letter sent to the firm managing the contract for Warrior Canine Connection complained about the “health and well-being of animals, specifically as it pertains to standard precautions in a health care setting”.

The Snopes article goes to explain their were concerns about sick dogs and patient safety. The program to provide service dogs to vets would continue, it's just unknown if the dogs will come from this one non-profit. This one non-profit appears to be continuing it's work, it's just not on the bases right now.

Can't have that, got to shut it down. I don't know where I'd be without my dogs. To hell with them, I think I will go get another dog for Christmas. What a bunch of morons in Washington. :poop:.
