I am almost in the Colorado State Patrol. I had the interview with the pyschcologist and told her I was diagnosed with PTSD. Of course she pulled a book out and asked me a bunch of questions. Now I have to get approval from an Army doctor, that I can not find, so I Can enter the CSP. My PTSD was very bad when I left the Ranger's and changed my job to being a mechanic. Then my wife left, I had back surgery and was discharged. I am not whinning, just giving a brief history. I have wanted to join law enforcement for a long time. I truely believe that none of my "disabilities" will interfere with my being a cop. If anything I would think my experience would be a plus and a step ahead. From the research I have done many law enforcement officers also go through PTSD. SO my question is what can I do or say that will get me in hte door and be able to prove myself? Any help would be greatly apprecaitted.
