Of late everyone has been experiencing some problems loading video.

I found a solution. On the top of the browser bar there was a shield. When I selected it, and entered 'Load Unsafe Script' all video's appeared.

Hope this helps

More to the story. The forum now shows up as a https or encrypted secure site and YouTube is unsecure so they show as unsecure scripts and you have to allow them.

Have left it with Anthony. It must be new.

Hey Jimmy

I use Firefox and I don't have that shield that you mentioned. Can't see any videos. I don't use IE and haven't for a long time, chrome is Ok but is too similar to IE in it's forced page setups. Even ff is getting that way. It used to be open source but I think those things and those days are gone.

I don't even like to use the microsoft os as it's becoming more and more controlling and less and less user friendly even though they say otherwise. I won't go to 8, I'll wait for the next or next os to come out.

If I could wrap my head around Ubuntu, I'd jump at it. (Even tho' the engineers put a backdoor on it for the fed). I hate Win 7 so much, I tried to downgrade to XP. No go. Had the blue screen of death and something about a crash dump. 7 has so many holes in it, any hacker past the third grade can cut right in. The other day, I had 674 ports established with god knows who.

I can see my hackers engineers laughing their asses off at my futile little attempts to free myself. My friends say just walk away from the computer and forget it. I can't, just can't. Not when 22 of us are offing ourselves each day. I cling to the hope I can stop just one. Only one.

Jar, what I have noticed is this. The forum is now https, I am pretty sure it did not used to be. Anyway, Video's like YouTube are insecure so they are classed as insecure scripts. When I disable the security, I can see the video's.

i.e. it's now https, when I disable the security i get https and then I see all the vids

Even if I do disable security, which I've done in the past for some sites I use Norton. I have for many years because it's a pit bull when it comes to anything trying to get by the firewall. I'm OK that I can't see all the vids. We'd talked about this issue earlier and as long as I can post and stuff it's cool. Thanks for the info.

Mate, Anthony has fixed it. It is about running non-secure scripts on secure pages. Apparently a lot of the browsers upgraded their security.

Thanks Jimmy

I'll look into an upgrade of my browser and see if that fixes it. As I said, not mission critical.
