Unless I've missed something, I haven't seen one word of nonsense on this thread deserving of the threat to be banned. For me personally, I was asking @Rain for clarification as Christmas is a specific trauma anniversary for me, an acutely painful one, and my asking had to do with whether or not to bow out. I think it fair to say that to tell anyone here "to get a life" is disrespectful at best.

I as well @ShikibuZ have a suicide attempt anniversary date on 12/25...and am filled as the day draws near with a bit of trepidation...so grateful for this thread.

I am sorry too. May I ask for clarification? Are you just wanting people to hop on and like say, "I am here and lonely" on Christmas and others to just say "yes, I am too." Is this the kind of support you were hoping to receive? I think sometimes imagination can be healing too. It can help to get the depression off of ones mind even for a few brief seconds, but I do want you to feel respected and validated as well. Please forgive me?

No apologies are wanted, this is not about people feeling bad. Please read again what I said originally in my post about it being off topic. I feel sick to my stomach but I had to say the things I did.
