Vivid Nightmare

A few years ago after i got divorced, i was date raped. Never saw a face, a distinguishing mark, nothing. Woke up in a hotel in town naked. I just woke up from a dream about that night, and it was my best friends ex. I finally saw his tattoo on his chest as i was waking up from being drugged. I was restrained in an odd position, and he was telling me if i ever tell her he would hurt me, drugged me with a sedative by needle (which happened in real life, i woke up with several puncture wounds on my arm), and i woke up wetting the bed. A bit more possible insight... She is in a relationship now with a guy we all hate, who is the same as my potential rapist, only poor. Do you think this has any bearing on seeing him as the person who really did this to me? They never found him because he used a condom, no hairs, no evedence of any kind. I havent had ththis dream in a while.

Part of me is inclined to believe your dream revealed the truth, but dreams can be highly symbolic too.

I was a little confused by the wording so forgive if I misunderstood, but this is the same guy she is currently dating, or she is dating someone with similar personality/energy?

I wish I had better insight. I saw that no one has responded yet and wanted to reach out to you. This holiday time of year is very active for our website and I want to make sure you are being heard and supported since there are so many postings happening at once.

Is this a reoccurring dream? In terms of evidence, what about the hotel people? Did they see him check in? I'm sorry to ask any questions that might be hurtful, so feel free to tell me to 'Eff off' if I am over-stepping here.

Using needles to drug women sounds like something a sick rapist would do more than once. I mean he doesn't sound like an amateur, so I am wondering if you are seeking prosecution or you just want to know for your own healing process?
