Walked Away From Relationship With My Daughter

Fast forward almost 4 yrs..... Things are not good. I'm doing well, but things for my daughter have turned to shit. We have not gotten back together, but I have kept up with things as well as I could.

So far this is what I know. My daughter and son in law, have lost their home to foreclosure, my SIL has lost his contracting company, they are homeless and living in a borrowed van that his father loaned them. SIL lost his license to drive, he has been arrested for theft, possession of a class A substance, unarmed robbery on a person over the age of 65, he has 2 outstanding warrants with 1 additional one being issued today because he failed to appear in court again.

They are on the run, fugitives from the law, and they have one of their sons with them. Mike has autism and is mentally challanged. But, he gets a social security check every month, so I suspect that's why he is with them. It's money for their heroine habit.

Every agency I have turned to, has not been able to help. It's been frustrating to say the least. I only want help for Mike, my daughter and SIL need to help themselves, should they ever come to their senses.

I doubt that will ever happen, but I can hope....

My son is doing well NOW, but last year after the murder of our neice and his ongoing abuse and addiction I had to put him out at the age of 18 in december, in the snow. It's way hard, but sometimes that is what it takes. Hugs.
