There is still a meetup group which meets regularly that is called Unsilenced.... I can't post links, so you'll have to visit meetup webpage and search for ptsd or unsilenced and you'll find it...

They meet regularly in Northern Virginia mostly.. but occasionally in DC and Montgomery County MD..

I am looking for a support group in the Northern VA area that works with teens that have parents with PTSD/TBI. Does anyone know of any? There father was injured in Afghanistan and has been in and out of mental hospitals, programs etc for the last year and a half. Things seem to be getting worse and it is greatly affecting my kids. Any guidance would be appreciated! Thank you!
