Weird session

so this weeks session was a bit odd.
My T was in a happy mood.
at the start of the session, i started discussing serious stuff. and my T continued. smiling.
i looked away, and continued talking.(giving him a chance to catch himself and STOP smiling)
but he didnt. my facial expressions were very serious.
yet through out the discussion, he just seemed amused at my thoughts. meaning he was not taking it seriously.
i continued on the subject, hoping he would realize i am dead serious but to no avail. i changed the subject and then he was fine and normal.

was so unprofessional of him doing this.

do u give T a pass on something like this?
they are only human and can not disguise their feelings all the time.

Thought error. “Meaning he was not taking it seriously”. No. Ask him. It bothered you. It still bothers you. Don’t guess. Just ask. It’s normal to ask.

My old t would smile at certain things. Bugged me!!! I asked. Turns out she was happy I was making connections. She actually smiled while I was mad at her. That drove me NUTS!!! She said it was because she knew in that moment I was starting the trust her enough to get angry. Ask.
