What About Cymbalta?

I have been looking through the threads here about medications and I have not discovered anything about Cymbalta. I have been on it for 3 years with good success. Although I still have bouts with anxiety.

Anybody have any thought or experience on this medication?

I've been on 120mg of Cymbalta (or Duloxetine as my psyc calls it) for a while now. It's ok, gave me a few good weeks.
Pretty bad side effects if you stop taking it suddenly though. Not looking forward to getting off the stuff.

For me, the positive effects wore off after a couple of months, so now I'm on Cymbalta and Mirtazapine (Remeron) combined. The mixture is pretty grim so far, can't see me sticking with it for much longer.

Sometimes I wonder if psychs really do know what they are doing!

Was on cymbalta 60 mgs for a month...didn't really do much for me but I have heard that it works well for some.

My hubby is on it for chronic pain and as a mood stabilizer. Has worked well for him.
