Just found out I have cancer. Pretty scared for my family, especially my girls. Just requesting prayers for my family, we really need them now.

Oh my God, my heart sank when I read this (((((Deb))))), what type of cancer do you have and do you have more information on it? Standing by you, lighting a candle.

There is hope! Just be kind to yourself and try not to worry so much about remembering. I, too, have big chunks missing from my childhood. I have stopped straining to remember and it has been quite a bit better. I pray that you will start to look forward instead of back. You do have a future, even though it may not be exactly what you want. Hang in there!!

I feel sad that three friends here are suffering with life threatening illnesses and I can do nothing but send positive thoughts and virtual gentle healing hugs.

Same here Elisacullen21... I have large portions blacked out of my childhood, and at 51, it is doubtful that I will retrieve them... or want to.

Feeling like I really need to talk about everything that has happened. Don't know how and I am so sad, scared, and angry. Lost, lost, lost

Need to be strong for my friend and get my head screwed on right. Really having trouble wrapping my head around everything. Just don't know how to deal with this.
