Today I feel happy..
Can't even believe I'm saying that, but I do. I've spent so long away from my family, probably because I felt I never fit in. And now, here I am, right back where I started. With my family. We were having dinner the other night and my sister (who is someone who has the nerve to crack a joke at a table and get a laugh rather than 'I can't believe you just said that out loud') looked at me and said 'my hands are so much bigger than your's. I reckon mum screwed the milkman'. I couldn't help but laugh. It's so true. We're so different. To imagine we came from the same gene pool is something I couldn't believe - if I knew it wasn't true. My mother replied with 'yes, you weighed 10 pound when you were born and were an absolute nightmare. Jen weighed 5 and gave me some sleep'. Families huh - gotta love em!
Loving being around my family after SO long away :)
P.S - my sister's black pedigree persian cat is now shedding his fur on my bed I just cleaned AND hogging my side of the bed. I have to sit there and admit - it is rather CUTE.
