I always try to be grateful about at least one thing, to help keep myself optimistic. I'm really glad I have my husband who supports me, my daughter that makes me feel like I've done something right, and my dogs that keep me laughing and give me cuddles when I need them.

I am grateful for beginning to sleep better, for the forum friends and peers. For being ok in spite of adverse and ugly circumstances. My resolve to begin not to become bitter or angry for the rest of my life.

The beautiful people I live with. I love them and look up to them, and they make me feel seen and loved and accepted.

• That I'm alert and aware this morning - been a challenge for a while.
• That I found some "real" jobs to apply for that pay a living wage.
• Also, that I found a coupon to go to Einstein's tomorrow and Sunday for decaf and face time with my laptop - job application central!
• That I spoke with the attorney yesterday and found out that there's another option available in this estate scenario. We're moving forward. I sure wish she'd shared this with me when I went off the rails 3 months ago.
• My faith and Grace that covers me. Working on breathing again.
