What Are You Grateful For Today?

Today I am grateful that I found this forum which has helped me get through the day

I am grateful that Romney won't be president, and that the most prominent rape apologists running for national offices (Akin, Mourdock, Linda McMahon, etc.) all got trounced. Well, except for Paul Ryan who still gets to keep his House seat.

I'm grateful to generous people who even though they don't have much themselves still donate stuff to fund raising charities.

KP, when I was a little girl, my mom was a single mother, putting herself through school, raising two young daughters, without any or little support from my father. She wasn't on welfare, because, then, they told her she couldn't work and go to school, so she went off. Anyhow, the point of this is that, one Christmas, a charitable organization had a Christmas party for children of which I attended. They also brought me to a store to buy something for my mom. That bit of kindness has always effected how I feel towards giving and I have never forgotten it.

Today I am very grateful for this forum. It has caused me to grin so much this morning with some of the kind words and support I've gotten that my cheeks are getting sore! It is a wonderful feeling! Thank you!

I am grateful that I have this thread to share that I am grateful, and read why others are grateful!

It's almost 4am here, so I am grateful for the tiredness that is setting in. I am grateful for any sleep my body allows. I am grateful for my family, who I love so much, even though they all drive me insane in their own unique ways. I am grateful that I am beginning to love the parts of my family that drive me insane. I am grateful that I am getting counselling.
