What Are You Grateful For Today?

I am grateful that I am 100% better today than I was yesterday.

I did mindful meditation this morning, spent a couple of hours on the internet, went for a walk for an hour, ate breakfast, washed up, thought things through reasonably, made an appointment to have a student do my hair at the TAFE, tided up, threw out a few things and generally I am managing much better.

I got the washing off the line before it poured down.

I am having reasonable thinking today in my head. This comes from self monitoring and from challenging my thinking.

Shortly I will get dressed and go and mind the art gallery and do some work there, after that I will go to Tai Chi.
 
I am grateful that I did not go through with any one of the thoughts that ran through my mind on Wednesday. I am grateful that I reached out to others and that I am still alive. I am grateful for my family and co-workers who are so supportive while I am going through this phase in my life. I am grateful that I have hope that this will one day pass..
 
I am grateful that the anti-inflammatory drugs that the doctor prescribed are helping with my shoulder pain. It was getting quite awkward using the mouse with my left hand when I'm used to doing everything with my right!

Just grateful that I had the x-rays taken last week, so now I know what's going on with it!
 
I am grateful for the people in my life who really care about how I am doing. I am so grateful to my granddaughters who picked me flowers and gave me a hug and said they loved me.
