What Are You Grateful For Today?

:coffee: I am grateful for having this big, huge cup of tea and a fancy raspberry croissant for breakfast... Which I'm lucky enough to enjoy in my beautiful, clean house...

Because I'm grateful each and every day for having a roof over my head and food to eat with my beautiful family...

And I'm grateful for my husband, we had a fantastic Valentine's Day, which is really nice, of course, but exceptionally good because I struggle so much with all holidays and everything was perfectly great yesterday. :inlove:

I'm so grateful for having a safe, beautiful place to live.

I'm grateful for my family.

I'm grateful for chocolate banana smoothies for first breakfast and French toast with blackberries for second breakfast today. (Yes, I'm eating like a hobbit today, and oops... I did yesterday, too. Oh, well, I'll worry about weight management and eating healthy and all that stressful stuff tomorrow... or maybe Tuesday, since my daughter and I are thinking about having a tea party :coffee: tomorrow since it's President's Day and there's no school, which I'm grateful for, too.)

I'm grateful my son has the opportunity to go on a skiing trip tomorrow and he's so excited.

I'm grateful for my laptop. I totally love computers.

I'm grateful I'm feeling good. :D And I'm grateful that I'm learning to enjoy it while it lasts instead of just anticipating when I'll feel sad again.

I'm grateful for the wonderful people on this site. I was so happy to see @Ms Spock was just crowned the boogie boarding queen (I imagine you deserve some sort of seashell encrusted tiara ;)) and that @Berlinda found the perfect glitter make-up :inlove: and that @BlackbirdSinging shared so many good things to be grateful for, which I found to be very true for me at times, too. I especially liked "I'm grateful bad moods are temporary." I'm so glad to see there are nice people and animals in the world to make life just a little bit easier. I'm always so happy to see people having better days (even if only slightly better) because it's just such a victory, right?

I'm grateful for my perfect Pottery Barn style kitchen table which I got for a song at Ikea (which just 6 months ago OCD/Perfectionist me would have been freaking out had little wear marks on the top to the point she would race out and buy a new one, just because someone with a microscope (or intense hypervigiliance) could tell it had once held a hot plate and a damp glass, LOL!) and being able to sit here at it and catch up with everyone on the forum... instead of being all freaked out and PTSDy and afraid to leave my room. :shy:

I'm grateful for being out in the beautiful snowy evening we had here last night... and that we didn't get into a car accident on the slippery roads while driving home. Instead of worrying too much about dying in a car accident, I just sat back and enjoyed the sparkly crystally brilliance of the fat flakes of snow falling and blowing all around us. (How poetic of me, LOL!)

I am grateful that I am feeling good today and not all mopey. I'm grateful for my beautiful flowers, even though they are starting to droop, that my husband bought me for Valentine's day. They still smell good and are pretty to look at. I'm grateful for the rough ruby necklace he bought me. It's my birthstone and I really wanted it. I'm grateful for my family and friends. Husband included in both lists. :)

I'm grateful for snow. It's just so beautiful and I love to see it snowing... which it was all day today. Which worked out well, because my son went on a ski trip. I'm grateful that everything went well on his outing and he had a lot of fun. I'm grateful for having a toasty warm home and good food to eat. I'm grateful that my daughter K had a really good day and was such a good girl all day. I love to see her happy and helpful and excited about things. I don't think she whined or pouted or cried all day. I'm grateful for my husband, very grateful. I'm grateful for lots of beautiful, warm blankets to cuddle up under. I'm grateful for our pets... two hamsters and two Guinea pigs. They're really funny and then make me happy.
