Every Thanksgiving I write a long letter to God thanking Him for everything I can think of, but it is good to thank Him every day too. I thanked Him for my dog this morning, she is a Service Dog and she is my life partner as I live alone in this "cruel world" as it is sometimes called. Out here in the mountains of North Carolina, I don't really feel that it is cruel. That goes on more in the big cities I believe. However, when hurricanes pass through where one lives or where one's loved ones live, the cruelty sometimes can still penetrate our mountainous buffer and barrier layers here. We just got some October snow was all, and some wind that blew down a few trees by the creek. Thankfully I saw no houses or cars crushed! Thank You, Lord!
