What Are You Thankful For?

I am thankful that my temp job will be full-time until the end of the school year. I get to conduct the middle school band in three concerts and they will truly be my band, not one that I will have to hand over right before the concert. YAY!

My best friend. Today is her birthday and we are having a party, just the 2 of us.

I am also thankful for Thanksgiving, not because of turkey, not because of family, but because of God and the letter I write to Him each year on that day, thanking Him for everything I can think of. In fact, this year, because I am so forgetful, I took the whole week to write that letter to Him. It really makes me think, EVERYTHING we have, do, feel, etc. IS from Him. Nothing comes to us from any other source that is good.

I'm thankful to my darling H. He has just phoned to make sure I'm okay after I left him a message telling him I'd fallen down the stairs. He will vacuum the lounge for me when he comes home from work :inlove:. It would normally wait but I have friends coming for a candle party tonight and the dog hair need cleaning up - again.

I am thankful that I will get my nails and my hair done this week.

I am thankful that I am able to accept some help right now. It has always been hard for me to except help and I think I am starting to see that getting help is not all about failing.

I managed to have a shower although it was painful getting in and out. At least now I feel clean and fresh.

I am thankful that my husband bought me a camera today. Now I have to figure out how to download pictures on the forum.

That my candle party is over, only 2 friends but others sent orders :tup:

An understanding dentist for my husband. He put him at ease and managed to look at his teeth.

One appointment in January and all should be sorted for this time.
