I thought this might be a nice distracting thread for us. Seeing cute animal and baby/little children videos and hearing such stories always make me feel better.

I'll start. When I woke up this morning and headed downstairs, my hubby was in our enclosed front porch, saw me coming, and motioned for me to be quiet. Our cat Robert was at a window looking intently at a squirrel who had climbed up the screen. Robert had his paw against the screen toward the squirrel. And the squirrel had his or her paw against the screen, too. It was too cute!! After a moment, though, the squirrel jumped down and scurried away. I wish I hadn't been half asleep, I would have taken a picture.

Plenty :D

Some scooting-down-the-street kid shouted loudly 'I did awesome... I'll do it again, and faster!'. Then she went on to help her friend get back home safely. I'm still smiling about it, days later.

Yesterday a friend trying to immitate a dog. That dog still won on all rounds, giving him the look of 'you serious, dude?'

Day before that flymoles that were busy flying out before anyone gets the idea they don't blend with their clothes so well.

And a very colorful chalk drawing on the pavement, with a question mark instead of half of the head. The artist(s) was out of color by that time it seemed, so question mark is every color out there.

A couple of weeks ago I walked past a couple of children in a supermarket- a little boy and his slightly older sister. They were crouched on the floor facing each other. The boy was saying: "I saw a banana! A real banana!" And his sister was shaking her had and replying: "There's no such thing as bananas!" I'm still smiling now.
