What Did You Do For You Today???

I am sat in my window, watching the birds, few that are here, with TV on listening to Christmas songs from the 80's and 90's. :D

I ordered a new book Lighthouses of the Great Lakes. It won't be shipped till the end of December though. Me and books. :rolleyes:

I made two appointments with therapists today. Also remembered to appreciate the beauty of the yellow leaves I was walking through on the way to buying some yummy red curry for lunch!

I got a lot done and I allowed myself to feel good about it! I used my energy for ME instead of calling my brother and using it on him when I knew he was going to use me. I allowed myself my real feelings of feeling guilty about not calling him, I was going to call my tdoc to make sure I was making the right decision but came here and wrote instead because I already knew the answer, she had said yesterday the key would be to learn to trust my reality trust myself ...I am trusting myself today...no matter how hard it is and it is right now :cry: I'm not a bad person for not calling him...he doesn't need me ...he is a grown man who harbors bitterness and refuses to acknowledge me...

I am taking care of me...just for today.

...this is hard to do, huh?

I took a shower. I know that seems really- I don't know, basic. But trust me when I tell you, I find it extremely difficult to do even that when I am having bad days. I did feel better afterwards, much better actually.

I ate a stale bun and now I am headed off home for a nap. Took the day off work! :giggle:

The stale bun was my highlight. :whistling:

Oh, not compared to some things - negotiating peace in the middle east. Solving world hunger. Finding a cure for cancer. Piece of cake. :laugh: Hey site people - could we do an extra award for here? Like if you post something that you did for seven days in a row you get a little animated fireworks or something?

It really is hard.

Simplekindofgirl I am SOO with you on the shower thing. HURRAH for you. Maybe I'll manage one today too. I'm now going to buy a book. Maybe two.
